The North Carolina FY 2008-2009 budget bill, House Bill 2436, was signed into law today at 3:52 pm today.  We received the signed bill in the Enrolling Office at 4:20 pm and has been chaptered as Session Law 2008-107.  A link to the signed budget on the web is here.

Continuing Budget Authority Bill signed

Governor Easley signed House Bill 2437 tonight, Continuing Budget Authority, which extends through July 15, 2008 a number of programs that had just been funded for the first year of the 2007-2009 biennium, including federal block grants.
